Sofia knows how to notice beauty in ordinary things. In her free time, she draws anime on a tablet. Drawing is her hobby, an opportunity to communicate with people in a way that hearing does not always allow.

She is persistently learning English, dreams of traveling and one day trying herself as a model. Sonia has so much light and faith that dreams come true.

But next to dreams there is reality, which complicates her life.

Sofia has bilateral sensorineural hearing loss: her right ear cannot hear at all, her left ear only picks up loud sounds from close up. The hearing aids she uses have already worn out: they buzz, squeak and hiss. Without new devices, the world will become silent for her.

At the Sluh-Service medical and diagnostic center, the girl was selected for new Oticon Xceed hearing aids. All that was left to save was a little money to buy them.

These devices are an opportunity for Sonia to communicate, learn, do the things she loves, and build her future, in which she so sincerely believes.

Without them, she finds herself isolated from the people and sounds that fill the world.
