Sofia needs our help to hear the world again.

Her hearing aids, which we bought seven years ago, have served their purpose and now hiss and buzz. Without new ones, Sofia risks being left in silence.

Sofia has bilateral sensorineural hearing loss: her right ear cannot hear at all, and her left ear can only hear loud sounds from close range.

At the Slukh-Service medical and diagnostic centre, the girl was fitted with new Oticon Xceed hearing aids. Not much more needs to be raised to purchase them. Without our support, the family will not be able to cope!

Sofia loves to draw anime on her tablet. After graduating from school, she enrolled at the Dnipro College of Technology and Design.

For Sonya, hearing aids are her only connection to the world around her. Without them, she cannot hear her mother's voice or her friends' laughter. They are her opportunity to learn, communicate, and dream about the future.
