Dad protects us – let's protect his daughter!

Kira was born by the sea, but the war took away the sea. Another enemy – a serious illness – is destroying her body. The one-and-a-half-year-old daughter of military persons, whose father is currently defending his homeland and hardly sees his child, is now defenceless against the disease. 

Kira has cystic fibrosis with severe pancreatic insufficiency. This is a very dangerous genetic disease that requires daily medication, inhalations, and physiotherapy. Only with proper and timely treatment can the girl live a long life. 

In the process of establishing the correct diagnosis, many tests were taken, and the family paid for accommodation in clinics – the family is financially exhausted. Even now, Kira still needs inhalation medicines, diapers, high-calorie formula and food, a steriliser to disinfect cups and inhaler tubes, and a home trampoline for daily physiotherapy exercises. In the future, some of the medicines will be provided at the expense of the state budget, while most of them will have to be purchased by the patients themselves. However, the documents for the provision are still in the process of being drawn up, so the family needs all-round support. To save the child, to get through the hard times.
