Lika is a little 5-year-old girl, but a very brave fighter. From birth he fights for life, for every breath, for every moment. Although she was born palm-sized and weighed only 830 grams, she overcame the most difficult difficulties and trials. The first months of life she did not breathe, did not eat, did not keep the temperature and pressure without the help of drugs. At first, the doctors just turned away, telling her mother to pray... but day after day she struggled, an incredible thirst for life, and the girl survived.

Three months of artificial lung ventilation behind, finally the long-awaited trip home from the hospital. Then massages, swimming. But a year later, he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, after which his father left the family, deleting them from his life. The mother is an immigrant from the anti-terrorist operation zone, left with three children in a foreign city without housing and relatives. Despite this, Lika underwent rehabilitation, many painful therapies and worked exhaustingly for several hours every day with specialists. Thanks to perseverance and work with rehabilitation specialists, Lika from a critical – difficult condition has reached almost independent gait and speaking in sentences, even jokes and smiles a lot. The girl is cheerful, very kind, gentle, loves animals, flowers and playing with other children her age.

She tries to be independent in everyday life, she eats almost without help, learns to undress, put on shoes and even helps her mother to cook. Medicine knows colors, shapes, animals, learned letters. He loves music and constantly tries to dance. Doctors say that such an incredible result and progress is a miracle. But a month ago, the girl's condition deteriorated sharply. Again doctors, examinations, fear for the child's future. And a new terrible incurable diagnosis, like thunder in the sky – epilepsy!

With each new attack, a part of the brain dies, the child is turned off for a while, his physical condition and skills have significantly deteriorated, his appetite has disappeared, his sleep and mood have deteriorated. Epilepsy changes a person permanently and permanently, destroys all skills and abilities. With each passing day, the attacks are stronger, more frequent and longer, which can end in resuscitation. Therefore, it is extremely important to stop seizures, enter remission and prevent regression of the child.

Doctors are convinced that it is possible to overcome seizures and worsening of the condition, and forget it as a nightmare, but only if treatment is started as soon as possible. Take anticonvulsants and most importantly – introduce a ketogenic diet, which is designed specifically to combat epilepsy in children. Diet treatment should be carried out only under the strict control of doctors – specialists in this field, only in this case a positive result is guaranteed and a very high chance of long-term remission (no seizures), and the child will be able to go to new achievements. But, unfortunately, the mother's financial situation is extremely difficult, because she is forced to rent a house and feed three children, whom she raises on her own.
