A greenhouse for a lucky person

Despite the fact that winter and cold weather are on the way, our project "A greenhouse for a lucky person" does not lose its relevance. Understanding its importance and effectiveness in the socio-psychological rehabilitation of children, our team does not invest effort and faith in the fact that we will be able to implement the project in the spring. Fundraising is ongoing and we have plenty of time to breathe life into it with you.

We would like to remind you that the project "A greenhouse for a lucky person" involves the construction of a greenhouse in the Children's Town "Angel's House" – a center for social and psychological rehabilitation of orphans and children in difficult life circumstances located in the Hoshiv village in Ivano-Frankivsk region. As part of the project, children will participate in several hours of occupational therapy every day and will learn the skills of growing organic food on their own.

Occupational therapy is a rehabilitation program that includes the development of various skills, including gardening and light work on the land. This type of therapy teaches the child to achieve the set goal and to get pleasure from physical work.

Traditionally, physical work is perceived by a child as something difficult and unpleasant. Therefore, our primary goal is to show the child that work is not only useful for physical and mental development, but also an exciting activity. Understanding that the process of mastering various abilities can be exhausting, children undergo occupational therapy for only a few hours a day under the close guidance and supervision of project mentors. Each time, the mentor-psychologist will set himself the goal of instilling in the child a sense of satisfaction from physical work, thus offering him a new model of behavior. Participation in the work is discussed and evaluated by the child and the psychologist mentor.

As part of the "A greenhouse for a lucky person" project, we are raising funds to purchase a greenhouse and cover the cost of installing it in the Children's Village "Angel's House".
