A greenhouse for a lucky person

A large and spacious greenhouse in the Children's Village "Angel's House" is a long-standing dream of the team of our charitable foundation, because thanks to it, we will be able to put a "rod, not a fish" in the hands of children, and we are deeply convinced that the knowledge and skills of cultivation and care they will definitely need vegetables and plants in their adult life. In addition, occupational therapy will teach children to achieve their goals and get pleasure from physical work.

Children from residential institutions come to the Children's Town for rest and rehabilitation. Many of the children are used to a consumerist way of life, when they have to give you everything ready-made. They are not adapted to independent life outside the social institution - they do not know how to cook food, wash and iron clothes, and put the room in order. Thanks to the implementation of the "Greenhouse for a Happy Face" project, the foundation's team of volunteers will teach children to work with soil, seedlings, and seeds. Each time, the mentor-psychologist will set himself the goal of instilling in the child a sense of satisfaction from physical work, thus offering him a new model of behavior. Participation in the work will be discussed and evaluated by the child and the mentor-psychologist.

We would like to remind you that the project "Greenhouse for a lucky person" involves the construction of a greenhouse in the Children's Town "Angel's House" - a center for social and psychological rehabilitation of orphans and children in difficult life circumstances, located in the village of Goshiv in Ivano-Frankivsk region. As part of the project, children will be involved in several hours of occupational therapy every day and will learn the skills of growing organic food on their own, will have the opportunity to get rid of their negative psychological background and be energized by new emotions and skills.
