You can provide Timur with comfort and safety

We can hardly list all the diagnoses of little Timur: they are cerebral palsy, double hemiplegia, microcephaly, decerebration rigidity, cardiomyopathy, thrombosis of brachiocephalic vessels, s​evere anemia, severe visual impairment, cortico-subcortical brain atrophy, respiratory failure. It took the family years to learn how to live with all these diagnoses and try to cope  with. In January 2022, the boy was taken in the intensive care unit for the first time for many years, with respiratory and cardiac arrest due to severe, fast developing pneumonia, and on February 24, the mother and son had to leave the hospital due to war and continue the medical treatment at home. In July 2022 Timur was taken to intensive care again and spent several weeks connected to ventilator. Recollecting those terrible days, the boy's mother says that Timur had never been so close to death.

Timur was fitted with a tracheostomy to breath, new life-threatening diagnoses were confirmed and another serious illness is being suspected by the doctors.  Today his mother and I are waiting for the results of the analysis. Due to new diagnozed diseases and the realities of the war, Timurchyk's family faces not only old problems but new vital needs as well. A blender, a sterilizer, a heater, a universal mobile battery, care products, special filters for a tracheostomy, medicines for inhalation, special food – all these things are necessary to comfort the boy's life.
