Three Marias: "Save Our Ivanko!"

Ivankov was 3.5 years, when he got to the hospital with a diagnosis of "pneumonia". This is when it all started. They saved his life then in the intensive care unit. But in 2011 the physicians uttered a terrible diagnosis: acute hybrid leukemia. The only life-saving measure can be a bone marrow transplantion from an unrelated donor, which is conducted only abroad. Three Marias – Ivan’s grandmother, mother and sister - beg to help raise money to find donor.

His mother first rejected to believe the diagnosis and took the baby from the hospital, but when his temperature has risen to 40, Ivanko returned to the hospital. The miracles which Maria prayed for so much never happened...

For six months Vanya was enduring intensive chemotherapy in the hospital in Lviv. He had to survive terrible sufferings. Doctors saved his life once more. The mother remembers it as nightmares. September 1, 2013 it all started again. Deadly disease came back. And only bone marrow transplant from an unrelated donor, which is performed only abroad, would save the boy's life.

Mama Maria : "My children - is the meaning of my life! For their sake, I was ready for everything! Because I love them more than anything in the world. And my heart is breaking when I see my keen boy dying! I’d do everything that depends on me to save him. It looks like a cluttering bird closed in a cage... and I have no right to give up, surrender! I must and will fight! God gave me a difficult path in life, particularly the role of mom and I will pass all the tests and save Ivanko! Every day I get calls from good people who help me in my trouble. They know how to comfort, warm my soul and give me strength to keep fighting hard. Thank you, good people, that do not leave me and Ivanko alone with a deadly disease! I believe that by combining our efforts, my son will live!
