She didn’t want war. She didn’t want loneliness. Yet she found herself at a dead end. She wanted to be a mother, but when she had no one left behind her, a paralyzing fear took over. War, evacuation, domestic violence, or just a cruel twist of fate – and a woman with a child in her arms is left face to face with nearly insurmountable problems. In such a moment, only instinct remains: to protect her child. And that is precisely when reliable support must step in.

Our Mother and Child Center in Kyiv provides exactly that support. We care for every mother with a child and help them regain belief in their own strength. Here, they stop being “victims” and become true agents of their own lives.

At our Center, they receive: a roof over their heads, a safe space – a warm room, hot meals, and psychological relief through individual counseling and group meetings, as well as professional, social, transportation, and food support.

But for our support to work without fail, we need your help. This is a charitable and vital cause – an investment in ensuring that Ukrainian children grow up with their mothers, not in orphanages. Do not let them face hardship alone. Because childhood does not wait for a mother to have money.
