Kyrylo's price for our peace

"Wa… It has started for me in spring 2014. Military service in special armed forces guaranteed me the place out of turn. All was started from simple dues, army drill, but later… War. And time got frozen. People through Media began to understand what АТО was turning into. In the fall I drove through the territory covered by war. It hapenned in winter. In the morning we got a team. Battle travel. Dues, rush, shouting of the commander, soldiers with feeling of completed obscurity of their further fate".

"A few days later we reached our goal. It wasn't quiet and safe but fortunately there were no murdered. Fog..this is what I distintcly remembred that morning.Our military convoy was breaking to the destination though this fog but our luck has ended. Leading car exploded on a landmine, and the first wounded were brought to us. We came out to cover and help to pull the guys to the trucks but explosion was heard. I was on the ground. The thought that I am wounded appeared in my consciousness, there was cannonade and explosions around, blood on the snow, but not so bright and honorable as writers represent it.. I was lucky, our officers and soldiers didn't leave their friends.Death comes to everybody but to the soldiers first of all. We were pulled out.

And further I had operation tables, hospitals, multiple blind shrapnel wounds of legs, demaged nervous system, a wheelchair and a walking stick later..Long-term rehabilitation and a chance to be back to normal life. Faces of walking people, regular people living by their peaceful life who know about the war by hearsay, and the part of you that is staying there, with those guys who will never come back..This is the fee that we pay for peace," - Kyrylo writes.

Кirill suffers from pain twenty-four hours. He manfully lives through this pain. And he doesn't despair. He swollows pills and walks on crutches! He endures pain and believes that all will be well with him.

There is not much left… Just a little money is needed and the boy will enjoy life again! And will celebrate one more birthday, and the begining of life without pain. Let's help the Hero!! And thereby we'll help ourselves to rethink our own life.
