We need your help paying for the next batch of oxygen concentrators. Our Fund gives them away for free to people who are suffocating. These two sentences describe a large piece of the work of our foundation.  

Previously, the explanations were necessary. Incomprehensible devices for some seriously ill people that most ordinary people have never met in their lives –  what are we talking about? Now there are almost no questions. The coronavirus pandemic has leveled everyone off. There are a lot of people who need oxygen concentrators. The words "pulse-oxygen machine," "concentrator," "saturation" have become familiar.  

Can we resolve a situation where the medical system can't stand it? No, we are not infringing on such a large-scale task. But we can help some people. Approximately 15-20 patients with covid may survive an exacerbation and, probably, do without hospitalization with the help of one oxygen concentrator used during one year.  The oxygen concentrator can extend life for a person with another severe lung disease by several weeks or even years.  Most importantly, the oxygen concentrator helps a person breathe when his/her lungs fail, and it saves from suffocation. The flip-side of the pandemic and the mass demand for oxygen concentrators is that they have become unavailable for everyone – both for patients with covid and for patients with other diagnoses (they are almost impossible to find on sale for a fair price).

Our foundation buys oxygen concentrators to give them out for free to be temporarily used for the period of oxygen deficiency. When the need disappears, the device returns to our warehouse, undergoes disinfection and testing, and continues to serve the next patient.

Today, the request for free concentrators significantly exceeds the number of them in stock, so we need to order more and more devices as soon as possible. Please help us pay for the next batch.
