On October 20, 2020 on the website of the ICF "Ukrainian Charity Exchange" dobro.ua was posted a collection on the project "My muscles are" dying ", which aimed to raise funds to pay for a ventilator for Fedorenko Maxim (diagnosis - muscular dystrophy Duchenne). Duchenne muscular dystrophy is characterized by the fact that the child's muscles gradually die, stop working, and this is currently an incurable process. The worst thing is that the lungs also gradually stop working, and so children need a ventilator to breathe. That's Maximka needed a device… We are very grateful to the Ukrainian Charity Exchange, which also joined our collection and shot a story about Maxim. This helped the collection a lot and speeded it up. The amount was collected on April 5, 2021. Next came the process of purchasing and transferring the ventilator. The family received the ventilator itself and one oxygen concentrator in April. But there was still the amount that my mother wanted to buy a stabilizer for the device, but for a long time did not find, so she asked us to buy another oxygen concentrator, which she received on May 14. The family is very grateful for the help, because it is expensive equipment that they would not be able to buy themselves! ..
