Nastya will have a happy childhood

The Ministry of Health has allocated funds to pay for the treatment of Nastia. Nastya from the Rivne region will soon be two years old. This little girl and her parents were fallen by very hard tests - the struggle for life, the fight against cancer. The child has a rare type of cancer diseases - juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia, which is almost totally resistant to any chemotherapy treatment. The only chance to win this fight is a bone marrow transplantation from an unrelated donor.

A year and a half ago, Nastya Gamza was diagnosed with leukemia. Child bone marrow does not produce healthy red blood cells and platelets, and the child's body is captured by the army of white blood cells of patients. Intoxication exhausts her; all her internal organs are stroke, her spleen is greatly increased, her skin cracks and peels off, creating painful sores. After consulting with German doctors, the final diagnosis was determined - juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia. This is a very rare form – it sets up only 2% of all cancers in children. There are no standard treatment protocols for it.

Nastia can be saved only by bone marrow transplantation and removal of the spleen. Without this, the child is expected to live no longer than 5-6 months. Now the girl is given blood transfusions and therapy, which is a bit of a deterrent to the development of the disease.

The MEDIPOL clinic in Istanbul agreed to accept the girl. The treatment costs 135,000 dollars.
Parents applied to the Ministry of Health for the operation to be paid from the budget. However, there is a queue of another 28 people ahead of her, so the funds won’t appear soon, albeit the child has no time.We plan to collect UAH 450 000 on UBB to help this young family and save the child.
