The maternity hospital needs new equipment!

The Izmail Perinatal Center has been providing medical care to the female population of the city of Izmail and the Izmail district since its foundation in 1970. The perinatal center successfully operates two maternity wards with 9 individual maternity wards.

The perinatal center in recent years ranks first in the Odessa region in the number of births. Thus, in 2018, 1 206 births were performed at the Perinatal Center, in 2019 – 1 223, and in 2020 – 1 253 births, in 2021 – 1,300 births. In 2022, the activities of the perinatal center have not changed, and due to the large number of internally displaced persons who found refuge in Izmail due to the war, the number of births here has even increased – at least 120 per month.

The medical staff of the Center always takes care to improve the level of medical care, improve the conditions for comfortable stay of pregnant women, midwives and parturients, but for the further effective work of the Perinatal Center new transformer beds are needed, as existing beds are outdated and need to be replaced. and a fetal monitor is needed to monitor the fetal heartbeat.

Providing maternity hospitals with high-quality modern equipment is ensuring safe childbirth for women and their children who come into this world. Unfortunately, in maternity hospitals, shooting equipment that has been in use for decades is a particularly difficult situation in district and city maternity hospitals.
