In search of clean water: Sevastopol

Boarding schools, hospitals, nursing homes - these institutions cannot afford high-quality filters for the purification of tap water. And children, pensioners and hospital patients drink tap water. Although boiled. Our organization believes that it is necessary to draw the attention of the public and authorities to the problem of clean drinking water!

The clean drinking water has become a real problem in our country pretty long time ago. According to the researches of doctors, a significant percentage of diseases cases and weakened immunity are associated with dirty water that people drink regularly. Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace has helped to find a way to install "Barrier" water filters in Sevastopol Children's home № 1 and 2, the Boarding school, Orphanage for children with impaired mental capacity, as well as shelter for juvenile and geriatric nursing home.

In order more Ukrainian, and not only, children drink pure and not chlorine smell and rust water, it is necessary to draw public attention to the problem of pollution and to popularize the idea of charity and clean water!

To do this we plan to carry out environmental campaign called "Clean Water - good health” in Sevastopol eco-park "Lukomorye". As a part of the celebration there will be an exhibition of children's drawings, pull-up bar competition and a concert of talented youth, children from orphanages and boarding schools, where the "Barier" filters will be installed.
