In a constant struggle

The fate of this family deserves special attention as soon as their life story is amazing, at the same time the father and his son are fighting for their health, hoping for the fast recovery. Andriy Pedanov (father), Candidate Master of Sports in swimming, a teacher – a swimming coach who graduated from College of Physical Culture, also he is a school tourism instructor and just a man who is socially active. 3 years ago the disaster happened with him, he broke his spine while falling down, and Andrey became a disabled person on a wheel chair. By that time Andrey already had two children, and one of them, Mykhailo – was a child with special needs. So the story of this family is more than tragic...

The future Andriy’s wife came from Donetsk region to live with her handsome boyfriend, who has already become a famous sportsman-swimmer those times. From the beginning he had romantic and lyric relations with his future wife, later they got married, she became pregnant. But on the sixth month of pregnancy the future mother got into car accident, she was hit by a car, although doctors assured that all would be well with a baby. But the childbirth was premature, the child's weight was just 2 kilos. Only after six months the doctors diagnosed cerebral palsy. The young parents made the decision to take care of the child. And after that they took risk and gave birth to one more child. And fortunately, he was a health boy.

But life prepared new tests for Andriy. And after the horrible trauma happened with him, Andriy became a disabled person, his young wife couldn’t stand that situation any more and got divorced with Andriy. She took their younger healthy child and left the husband with the sick child. She abandoned her bedridden husband together with a disabled child and also with their old parents. Andriy as a real generous and manful person left his ex-wife all he bought: a house in the village, a car. And besides he monthly pays his younger son’s kindergarten fee from his disability pension, because he thinks that how a real man has to act.

All seemed that Andriy and Mykhailo would stay special needs people forever. But they're constantly struggling: they try to find out information where they can be treated, apply for assistance and get treatment courses actively. So they applied to Bersenev Medical Center but realized that the treatment is so expensive for them. Dr. Bersenev International Charity Foundation made a decision to provide them both, the father and his son, with free course of treatment. And the miracle happened: positive dynamic of their recovering was noticed by doctors! But they need to get treatment for a long time to get good results.

Therefore assistance of all kind-hearted people is very important for these too heroic men who live for each other believing that their diseases will be overcome by their strength and courage, and they will be healthy and happy people very soon. But for it's needed the assistant for these men to overcome just their financial problem, don’t be indifferent!
