There is not enough oxygen in the ICU

Volnovakha Central District Hospital is the closest major medical facility to the confrontation line with a service radius of 45-60 km, where locals, displaced persons, and soldiers address to. In recent years, much has been invested in the development of the hospital. But there are still acute problems which the team asks to solve. In particular, there are not enough oxygen concentrators in the intensive care unit. They have to be "borrowed" from other units, and sometimes it is impossible to relieve the patient's condition. Non-Profit Municipal Enterprise "Volnovakha Central District Hospital" is the biggest health care facility in the Volnovakha district, which provides round-the-clock comprehensive, highly-qualified medical care to the population – 98 248 inhabitants of the district, 53,000 displaced persons, as well as soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, citizens of the town of Vuhledar, Velyka Novosilka, Telmanove, and Marinka districts. The length of the service area is 112 km. The main feature is that it is the closest medical facility of this level from the confrontation line, therefore it is the first to assist the military personnel of Joint Forces Operation military units in the course of injuries, traumas or diseases, perform surgical interventions, carry out inpatient and outpatient treatment. During this time, more than 2 500 military personnel were treated at the facility.

More than ten charities have already contributed to the renovation of the hospital, its upgraded and completed equipment. But not everything is done yet. And the supply of oxygen apparatuses is a pressing issue. If you support the project, it will be much easier for the patients.
