Photo Report by the Children of Heroes Charitable Foundation
With the outbreak of full-scale war in Ukraine, thousands of children have lost one or both parents. For some, this was the moment when their entire childhood fell apart. For others, it became a challenge to find new meaning and a source of strength. Despite everything, these children dream, grow, and learn, yet every day they face challenges that should not be part of a child’s life.
As part of a New Year’s greeting project funded by the dobro.ua platform, the charitable organization “Children of Heroes Charitable Foundation” sent greetings to 161 children from 101 families.
Support was provided to families from various regions of Ukraine, including Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Chernihiv, Poltava, Lviv, Vinnytsia, and other regions, as well as internally displaced families who were forced to leave their homes due to hostilities or temporary occupation.
