Dear benefactors, we sincerely thank you for supporting our "Ukraine - for everything!" fundraising initiative for 23 months since the beginning of the great war in Ukraine. During this time, more than UAH 43 million has been raised in this piggy bank. This allowed us to support 101 projects that were funded 111 times.
In particular, we helped to equip the Kherson Regional Infectious Diseases Hospital, which, due to the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant disaster and the spread of infections, needs to improve the diagnosis of intestinal diseases.
As we reported earlier, a laboratory fume hood and a pH meter were purchased for the hospital. It took some time to manufacture the fume hood. At the end of November 2023, the equipment was handed over to the hospital.
The pH meter is an ideal device for systematic monitoring of the pH of nutrient media, which is a very important step in the diagnosis of intestinal diseases, and the laboratory fume hood will provide a workplace for safe work with biological material, which is of great importance when the volume of work increases.
The equipment will help the doctors of the Kherson Infectious Diseases Hospital to provide quality medical care.
