Bilal's condition is currently stable. This summer was not too hot and passed quite quickly. His mother took him to the river several times, and the boy enjoyed this recreation, as the water was clear and clean.
Bilal loves to walk in the fresh air, so twice a day he goes to the park with his mother for a walk, weather permitting. At home, his mother gives him strengthening massages every day and puts him on his feet. Bilal's night-time sleep has also improved; he sleeps more soundly and wakes up less often. His gastrointestinal tract flare-up this summer was not very severe and, fortunately, did not require hospitalisation. Overall, doctors are satisfied with his health.
Bilal is now preparing for the school year and will be studying in the 3rd grade on an individual basis.
His mother, Maryam, writes to us: ‘A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the fundraiser for my son! We are deeply grateful to you all; without your help, we would not have been able to cope!’
