Prematurely born children require the continuous, round-the-clock monitoring after their state. In fact, by virtue of immaturity of organs and pathologies at any time, there can be (and arise up often!) apnoe (stops of breathing), critical violations of cardiac rhythm, cramps which can make off death.

Pulse oximeters are modern control-diagnostic devices by which for a few seconds it is possible to define the amount of oxygen in the capillary blood (level of saturation), and also to measure the frequency of heart-throbs. The level of saturation shows, as far as effectively oxygen, respirable in composition atmospheric air, entering lights, and then in blood, spreading, the same, on all organism. A decline of this level is the first sign of worsening of breathing or different diseases of lights, such as pneumonia, KHOBL (chronic obstructive illness of lights), bronchial asthma, cystic fibrosis, chronic respiratory insufficiency, Besnier-Boeck-Schaumann, lateral amyotrophic sclerosis, et al. The result of the conducted measurings is a percent of satiation of blood oxygen and amount of shots of heart in a minute. If there is a threat life of a child – a vehicle signals about a danger and a doctor has a chance in time to give help.

Their presence is in a hospital, where nurse prematurely born babies is a vital necessity! And here hope only on not indifferent people! Purpose of our project is to purchase new modern pulse oximeter in the separation of the post-intensive nursing of prematurely born children of the Khmelnytskyi regional clinical hospital.
