Easter basket for lonely elderly people

Today, lonely grandparents are overlooked by most people. Lacking money, and sometimes even a surviving store, the elderly do not live, but survive in the current conditions of war. Without the support of their relatives, they can only hope for a miracle or for volunteers and all the caring people who support charitable projects. To help the elderly and give them at least a little joy for the Easter holiday, Let's Help announces an annual fundraiser for holiday food packages. 

We want the elderly to be able to enjoy not only a festive Easter cake, but also to receive the much-needed and loved food. 

Anyone can support the good cause! The cost of one Easter basket is about UAH 650. For the stated amount of money, we will be able to create a holiday for 2000 grandparents. Each of your hryvnias is important, because together we can do more! 

Fundraising will continue throughout April, because even after Easter people will be happy to receive help and feel cared for.  

The funds raised will be transferred to the Let's Help Charitable Foundation to purchase and deliver holiday food packages to lonely elderly people who are under the care of local communities. First of all, the food parcels will be sent to Chernihiv, Sumy, Kyiv, Zhytomyr and Cherkasy regions. 

Since 2015, Let's Help has been systematically helping the elderly and working to create a decent old age in Ukraine. More than 10,000 people living in geriatric nursing homes in 10 regions of Ukraine are under the care of the charity. Since February 24, 2022, the condition of many nursing homes has been on the verge of a humanitarian catastrophe, and the number of people in need has increased several times. But despite this, the foundation systematically helps geriatric nursing homes in each region and delivers charitable aid to the elderly to different parts of Ukraine.   

Every small contribution brings us closer to our important goal of making old age in Ukraine a dignified and happy one. Only together we can do more!
