Spring Kurazh 2024

Within the framework of the Spring Kurazh 2024 charity project, at the expense of funds raised at the Spring Kurazh 2024, which took place on 27-28 April 2024, during the period from 1 May to 30 September 2024, the NGO Resource Centre ‘Lisova Polyana’ managed to improve the quality of services of the State Institution ‘Centre for Mental Health and Rehabilitation of Veterans “Lisova Polyana” of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine’ by the multidisciplinary team was strengthened by 5 clinical case managers who are indispensable assistants in supporting complex cases, including patients with cognitive impairment and after captivity, torture, and PTSD, which gives extraordinary treatment results.

Thanks to the involvement of 5 clinical case managers who served as a link between patients and the multidisciplinary team of the State Institution ‘Centre for Mental Health and Rehabilitation of Veterans “Lisova Polyana” of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine’ (psychiatrists, neurologists, therapists, psychologists, psychotherapists, rehabilitation specialists, etc.), services were provided to 1215 patients, including 39 women and 1176 men.  246 patients received comprehensive support services throughout their treatment at the hospital. The total number of individual needs assessment services was 524.

Support and representation of interests in other medical institutions - 89 services. Participation in consultations - 58 services.  Consultations on psychoeducation, correction and management of the patient's individual route - 3840 services.

A series of recreational activities were also organised and carried out, which are an important complement to the main rehabilitation services at the State Institution ‘Centre for Mental Health and Rehabilitation of Veterans “Lisova Polyana” of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine’, have a therapeutic effect, affect the socialisation and restoration of cognitive functions in patients, as well as create a general therapeutic atmosphere and significantly increase the sense of trust and security, which allows for active involvement in treatment.
