We have known the Lukashuk family for a long time and they are our wards. Parents are trying their best to deal with a bunch of health problems of their children – two out of three have serious diagnoses. Today we are talking about Artemko. 

Congenital problems and defects have led to the state when the boy has long been able to eat only through a tube. So he needs special food so that he never learns what starvation is. Being already a teenager, he can neither stand, nor sit, nor do anything else on his own. So, he just needs diapers and nappies so that Artem can at least lie down without the rashes, irritations and discomfort associated with it.

The level of development of the boy equals to that of a baby, and his illnesses are incurable. However, he feels the world around him very well. He receives maximum care and love from his family on the one hand, but on the other hand the family is simply not able to provide him with comfort and satiety on their own. And here everything already depends on us, whether we satisfy all Artemko's simplest human needs.
