Open summer for children in need

Every summer, the team of the "Ty-Angel" Charitable Foundation organizes a holiday for orphans and children in difficult life circumstances. It takes place in the "Angel's House", located in the heart of the Carpathian Forest. It is very cozy and calm here. At the same time, 25 children can stay in the "Angel's House".

Last year was full of many different challenges. Not only adults, but also children experienced them every day. Air alarms, alarming news on radio and television. significantly affected the psychological state of children. Our children are pupils of state social institutions. Each child has his own difficult life story, some lost their parents or guardians, some were abandoned by their relatives, and some ran away from home because they were beaten and humiliated, and were not allowed to eat.

Veronika's story is practically no different from the stories of children who end up in social institutions for living and education. At the age of 10, the girl became a victim of physical violence from her stepfather, who drank together with her mother and did not pay enough attention to her children.

Veronika has a younger brother. Children often had to fall asleep hungry in a cold house and a dirty bed. Such a life was unbearable for children. Not feeling love and support from her relatives, Veronika often ran away from home in order not to fall under the "hot hand" of her drunken parents. I had to ask for food from neighbors, acquaintances and strangers. Once, when Veronika once again left the house, she was spotted by law enforcement officers, who stopped her at the station and took her to a social institution. Here the girl was fattened, cured, washed. In the institution, she received the help of a psychologist, her own bed and personal belongings, and found new friends. Here she was understood and supported. Veronika got rid of her fears, nobody beat the girl anymore.

Our foundation helps children like Veronika. We cooperate with social institutions and help them provide psychological assistance to children who have experienced various types of violence. Our volunteers organize interesting leisure activities, summer camps, and various interesting excursions for them. We also teach them new skills that will help children socialize and find themselves in an independent life.

Our team invites children to the Children's Village "Angel's House", here we help children like Veronika to feel truly happy, immerse themselves in an atmosphere of family comfort and support. We see that it works, because children change a lot in their behavior and worldview. Veronica is one of them!

The date of the summer camp is August 2023. Number of children – 20 people.
