Recovery for mom! 2

Dear donators, you already know Eva Shyndina, a refugee from combat area and a mother of two kids. She is disabled since childhood, subgroup A, diagnosis cerebral palsy, her father died and her mother raised her alone. Eva studied at a special boarding school for children having cerebral palsy. Despite her diagnosis, being always radiant, kind and open, Eva met her love and got married in 2007. She gave birth to a son in the marriage. But in 2014 war burst into their world. Eva’s home city is Makiivka, this is where the family had to knock around and hide in basements under fire and explosions and experiencing the horror and hardship. Later the family was taken to Odesa with the help of volunteers. Here, Eva gave birth to her daughter Alesia in 2018.

Little Alesia loves spending time in her mother’s arms! It is so calm and safe when mother holds you tight! Despite all circumstances, Eva is a very cheerful person, however, her disease makes itself felt. Due to the severe spastic of upper and lower limbs, Eva moves with effort, she has speech disorders and requires rehabilitation treatment. Before the war Eva got such treatment regularly but after they moved to Odesa it turned out to be hard. Absence of therapy influenced her condition – spastic increased, she has headache more often, she feels stronger pain in muscles.

Only thanks to the help of caring people we managed to collect the needed sum for the rehabilitation course in Truskavets. Eva underwent a rehabilitation treatment in October 2020 and positively affected her health. Muscle tone of her limbs have decreased, Eva have become more active, her speaking has become more distinct, movements have become more coordinated, her tread became more confident and motor skills of hands have improved. But the treatment must be continued, the next rehabilitation course is scheduled for April 2021. It costs 23 680.00 UAH. Unfortunately, the family does not have such money. Eva’s husband is also a disabled person.

Please, help Eva to collect the needed sum to undergo the rehabilitation treatment. Her kids really need their mom!
