In January 2024, the Stanychno-Luhansk settlement military administration of the Shchastyn district of the Luhansk region turned to our fund for assistance in providing medical equipment to the Center for Primary Medical and Sanitary Assistance of the Stanychno-Luhansk settlement territorial community, which operates on the basis of hubs in Kyiv and Dnipro.

In March 2024, the project “War Took Everything: Assistance to IDPs from Luhansk Region” was posted on the website of the BO “IBF “UBB” dobro.ua, the purpose of which was to raise funds for the purchase of medical equipment in the amount of 51,209.00 hryvnias for one of the Kyiv hubs of IDPs, on the basis of which the Center for Primary Medical and Sanitary Assistance of the Stanychno-Luhansk settlement territorial community operates, to provide the necessary primary medical care to internally displaced persons from the Luhansk region.

A year later, the fundraising was completed. And on April 2, we paid the bill for the necessary equipment. As part of the collection, we managed to collect 51,209.00 hryvnias, but the supplier made a discount, and we were able to purchase equipment for a total of 50,000.00 hryvnias. Unused funds in the amount of 1,209.00 hryvnias will be returned to the account of the UBB ICF and we ask you to dispose of them in accordance with the Rules, Principles and Procedures of the UBB ICF.

Today, hubs operate in Kyiv and Dnipro, where displaced persons from the village of Stanytsia and other settlements of the Luhansk region can receive the necessary advisory, humanitarian and medical assistance. In total, about 3,500 people are served in the hubs.

The “Center for Primary Medical and Sanitary Assistance of the Stanychno-Luhansk Settlement Territorial Community” operates on the basis of the hub in Kyiv, where people receive free medical services. But, unfortunately, the Center lacks medical equipment and medicines, because all the supplies remained in the currently occupied city. Therefore, the equipment we provided will help improve the provision of free services for people, and also make the lives of displaced people easier. Namely, on April 18, 2025, the following were transferred: a three-channel electrocardiograph, a medical examination couch and a refrigerator for storing medicines.

We are sincerely grateful to the BO "MBF "UBB" for the opportunity to implement this project.
