Ivan is 10 years old. He does not speak, but he can find pictures on a smartphone and show what he wants. The boy loves watching cartoons, and on St. Nicholas Day he asked for characters from the cartoon series Super Wings. And a miracle happened – now he has transformer toys.

Ivan recently visited the Dnipro Opera and Ballet Theatre. It was not just a performance, but a real interactive game. He danced, moved, rejoiced and felt like part of the event.

The boy has lower spastic paraparesis and moderate mental retardation. Now he is mastering the most important thing – self-care skills. So far, he cannot do everything on his own and often needs the help of adults. But every new skill is a huge victory for him!

It is important for Ivan to continue his sessions with a psychologist in order to develop his cognitive skills and improve his psycho-emotional state. After the sessions, he becomes more attentive and calm, and it is easier for him to learn and interact with the world.

Ten sessions cost about 4,500 UAH. The boy's mother, Albina, is asking for our support.
