Amputation of a wounded leg, fractured skull base, nose, rupture of eardrums, detachment of the retina of the right eye – so much experienced in less than a year, a peer of the Independence Pavlo Gerasimenko, a student of the college from the White Church. Life led him into the ranks of the battalion "Aydar" where Pavlo lost his leg because of the crossfire of "Grad". However, he still feels terrible phantom pain in his leg, which no longer exists. To return to a full life, he needs not so much. Let's support the defender!

Pavel was one of the first students who were forcibly dispersed by "Berkut". Since then, he has decided to stay on Maidan and to defend our freedom. February 19 the rubber bullet found a young man – hit the nose. But after receiving medical care, Pavlo returned to Maidan. There he was until March.

And in June, having bought for his money necessary ammunition, Pavlo became a volunteer of battalion "Aydar". To all persuasions of relatives not to do it, the guy firmly replied that he was going to protect his loved ones, his land, and will not allow terrorists and occupiers to get to Kyiv.

Courageous patriot spent a month in Lugansk, until in July he came under fires of "Grad" missiles. He stayed alive, God didn't leave him there, gave him another birth. But the guy was seriously injured – broken skull base, nose, rupture of eardrums, detachment of the retina of the right eye. And the worst – a terrible wound in his leg, and then – a dozen of clinics, including in Israel, after which this leg the doctors had to amputate.

And all this time Pavlo was helped by ordinary people – they raised funds to support him as they could, because it was well understood: Pavlo and his sworn brothers are fighting for all of us! But again, the guy needs your help – three weeks after the amputation he started having terrible phantom pain, seizures which occur 4-6 times per day.

Thanks God, this trouble can be helped – we have the experience to solve this problem, there are doctors... The clinic "Medical Center of Doctor Bersenev" can help Pavlo Gerasimenko. But the process of treatment consists of hard work of the doctors of the clinic and the desire to recover of Pavlo. This is important. Because sometimes this continuous pain and frustration discourage is so hard that people lose any hope. But Pavlo, who in such a short period endured so many trials, understands that he should recover, and his example inspires a spark of hope in the hearts of guys like him.

Very little remains to do... a little bit of money – and Pavlo will again enjoy his life, and will celebrate another birthday and the beginning of a life without pain. Let's help the hero! And thereby let's help ourselves to rethink our lives.
