Vitaliy needs rehabilitation: let's join forces!

Vitalii Vasyliuk, a 15-year-old boy from Kvasyliv, Rivne Oblast, fights every day for the opportunity to live without pain and move like other children his age.

The boy was born prematurely at 32 weeks and received severe diagnoses: Cerebral palsy, spastic quadriplegia, epilepsy, combined contractures of the joints of the upper and lower extremities with severe persistent disorders, strabismus and delayed psycho-speech and motor development, Lenox-Gastaut syndrome. And this is not a complete list.  

Vitalii went through difficult days in the intensive care unit, months in hospitals and a long struggle for his health. His daily life includes numerous rehabilitations, physiotherapy, classes with speech therapists, and constant medication. He endures all this with incredible willpower. It is a very difficult daily struggle, but it is paying off: Vitalii has become more active, started to hold objects more confidently, move around in a walker under supervision, and enjoys watching football. 

The boy has completed 37 rehabilitation courses at the Kozyavkin International Rehabilitation Clinic, but due to the difficult economic situation and the war, it is becoming increasingly difficult to continue treatment. He needs rehabilitation to continue his recovery and achieve new results. Without the help of caring people Vitalii will not be able to receive the necessary treatment.
