Vladyslav Mykhailyshyn is a little fighter. He has faced many challenges. Everything is connected with a trauma in the perinatal period and a stroke during childbirth. In the future, it was this that caused all the consequences (microcephaly, cerebral palsy, tetraparesis, divergent oblique, valgus foot deformity, epilepsy). After two weeks in the intensive care unit, thanks to the neonatal intensive care workers, Vladyka's condition stabilized. And since then, his struggle for a better life began.

The prognoses of some doctors were frightening, depressing, and did not give any hope for positive expectations. Then, at the age of seven months, the baby began to have seizures, although the parents did not immediately realize what was wrong with the child (at that time Vladyka stopped responding to the world around him, was not interested in toys, and developed optic nerve atrophy). Further examinations, a long search for anticonvulsant therapy, and the selection of medications followed. When the boy turned one year and two months old, this problem, which caused no positive dynamics in Vladyka's condition, was overcome.

In fact, each child is very individual, so it is very important to choose the right methodology that will suit a particular child. The parents began searching for specialists who would help develop the child's physical and psycho-emotional state, which, by the way, was very difficult. The boy underwent many examinations in Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Tel Aviv, the Czech Republic, and Poland. He visited various rehabilitation centers in Truskavets, Lviv, Lutsk, Skadovsk and Kharkiv to find a methodology that would suit him.

Vladyk has now learned to hold his head, sit, chew, crawl, and get his eyesight back, he follows objects, tries to talk, and can say a few words. "This is a great victory for us, although it took a lot of effort. Thanks to an integrated approach (physical therapy, sensory integration classes, classes with a speech therapist, a speech therapist, swimming, metabolic nutrition), rehabilitation gives incredible results, obviously, brain cells are restored and take on functions that we were told would not happen. But they do! We can't rest on our laurels while our Vladyka is still young, we have to make every effort to make the impossible possible!", says the boy's mother.

The family has spent a lot of money during the boy's treatment and numerous rehabilitation courses, so now they are asking for support in raising funds for a new rehabilitation course for their son.

Please support him!
