Doctors of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Perinatal Center received state-of-the-art pulse oximeters and a phototherapy lamp. Pulse oximetry not only monitors the general condition of newborns (pulse and saturation), chooses the type of respiratory support, the need for surfactants, but is also a tool for detecting congenital heart defects in newborns.
