Save the kid from the nightmares

In the daytime, when Artemko is playing, he looks like a usual 8-month-old baby. But when a boy falls asleep, a terrible thing happens: he begins to suffocate and stops breathing normally. These are signs of a serious congenital disease. From his very birth, Artemko has experienced a lot of painful moments, and now he is expecting for a serious treatment. And right now we can help Artemko to breathe freely by purchasing his own oxygen machine. We can show him that night sleep can be warm and safe as mom's embraces, and the night will not be associated with asthma attacks and resuscitation. We can save the kid from these horrors.

It is expected that the boy will be operated on in the nearest future, and he will be able to breathe by himself. But still, we have to wait and wait. Ukrainian doctors do not perform such operations and Artemko's parents are looking for opportunities to go abroad. Thus, the boy needs time.

Moreover, Artemko is the sixth child in his family, who live in a small town. The last year was a year of extraordinary trials for his parents. The family is completely exhausted. Sure, no one is going to give up – but just now this family really needs our support. Oxygen apparatus for a kid means normal breathing, means safe nights and give strengths to go on.

We have to increase the amount that we raise for this project. Our oxygen equipment supplier whom we've been working with for the past 5 years, has failed to fulfill his delivery obligations this winter and the Foundation initiated the refund procedure this spring. Meanwhile, all of the deliveries have been put on hold for a few months due to the quarantine restrictions. Finally, we've been able to find a new supplier this summer who managed to resume the operations. The concentrator purchased for Artem is already in Ukraine, but its current cost is higher (18600 UAH for the apparatus with filters). All this time, Artem wasn't left on his own, we've managed to borrow a device for him for temporary use, but we need to give it back, while Artem needs to be able to breathe freely.
