Save my boy
"We are a simple rural family, and every day we woke up from the morning rays of the sun and the laughter of our children in the next room. We could never think that the laughter of our two sons we lov so much some day can calm down. Our eldest son's crippled terrible disease – cancer. We were in emergency despair and fear, but thanks to a strong strength and the faith of strong Rostyslav, we had overcome this fear, with the hope that this is the end, but ... The end of our bright hopes dissappeared after a year of recovery. Rostyslav occurred in relapse."
"In my head at once there was the same picture which we passed a year ago, and it is worse than any nightmare. Sea of tears, anxiety, fear, sleepless nights in intensive care unit, a desperate search for drugs in Ukraine, a constant headache, nausea, infection varied, and worst of all – money.
Unfortunately, today's realities of myeloid leukemia treatment, and especially relapse, in our country is deplorable. Expensive drugs, the survey, the lack of medicines in Ukraine in general made us realize that the joyous laughter of our children may end forever. Realizing that to save our son's life we can only collect money for a bone marrow transplant abroad, we shooted Niagara.
Polish clinic is ready to cure Rostyslav and actually to provide him chance to live a full life and never to return to the terrible and debilitating pain. We believe and know that our son will become a great man, and then become a better husband, father of his children. The price of our dreams is high, we have an invoice of 97 953 EUR. This amount actually is impossible to collect for our family, but for the sake of him, we are ready for everything!
After a successful bone marrow transplantation (from an unrelated donor) our Rostik can not only dream about meeting with best friends, going to university, become a diploma expert, but actually to implement it all to life. And again we would be able to hear the voices and laughter of our children in the next room.
At UBB, we want to raise a part of the required amount 500 000 UAH (part of the required amount – for treatment, and the other part – for the donor search in the Polish registry, and another part – for bone marrow transplantation). Help us to hear our son laughing again! Please!"
