Save our Father!

UPD 14.02.22: unfortunately, Ihor died. The disease was stronger. The dobro.ua team brings our sincere words of condolences to the man’s family and thanks to everyone who supported Ihor.

Ihor used to live a regular life, work and raise two kids. However, his life turned upside down suddenly, his state of health started deteriorating. This lasted for over a year, he underwent treatment at many hospitals, where he was prescribed different therapy, however, it did not work. Only after the CT examination of the whole body, he was diagnosed with a small-cell cancer of the right lung with metastasis to the liver and the left adrenal gland. Starting from 12.04.2021 Ihor is registered as an oncology center patient, undergoes chemotherapy courses there, after which the tumor removal surgery is planned.

Ihor had to quit from his work due to the deterioration of his health condition. His wife Svetlana has to keep a family as well as cover all expenses connected with the disease of her beloved husband: tests before each chemotherapy, examinations and medicine treatment after each course depending on the consequences of the chemotherapy. Besides, Ihor requires well-balanced food to raise the level of WBC and hemoglobin. Examinations, tests and recovery therapy require much money (about 7,560 UAH each three weeks) and all savings run short. At the moment Svetlana is the only breadwinner in the family, she has small salary, two minor children and pensioner parents, she can’t cope alone.

Children and Svetlana love their father and husband very much, he always sustained and supported them. Ihor’s kids, Daniil and Inna, believe that their father will get well, everything will work out and they will live their usual life. The main thing is to save the father’s life, help him overcome the disease. Numerous medical expenses have already exhausted the budget and the family has to ask for your help.
