Save the hearts of these children

This project was created and supported by Vodafone Ukraine's charity program "A Good Deed as a Gift".

Two children with heart disease are waiting for your help. Anna and Oleksandr urgently need endovascular surgery to correct congenital heart defects. Amosov doctors perform such operations free of charge. But parents need to buy heart implants for the surgery. The families of the children are low-income and cannot afford to buy implants and save their children's lives. Only we, the people who care, can help. Let's save the lives of these wonderful children together.

Anna Petrus, born on 01.07.2021 from Kyiv, needs surgery to correct a congenital heart defect – an open arterial duct. The baby's heart disease was detected at birth, but doctors hoped that the defect would close on its own with age. Now Anna is almost 2 years old, and at the last examination, doctors confirmed the need for surgery to eliminate the defect with a heart implant. The parents do not have the money to buy an expensive occluder on their own, so they turned to our foundation for help.

Borovskyi Oleksandr, born on 16.08.2017 from Chornobaivka village (Kherson region) has a congenital heart defect – an open arterial duct. From the first days of Sashko's birth, doctors discovered a heart defect. Just like Aniuta, doctors believed until the last that there was a chance for natural closure of the hole in the heart. But with each passing year and examination, the diagnosis was only confirmed. Sashko's mother was supposed to take him to Amosov in the spring of 2022, but the war broke out and the family lived for three months under occupation. Now they are on free land, and the mother has no way to save her son's heart.
