Save Artem's heart

15 years old boy Artemis is disabled. He has congenital heart disease – aortic coarctation. Boy felt weakness all the time and he had syncope episodes. In 2010 he had intracardiac device (stent) implanted for his coarctation. Thereafter he felt awesome. But lately his condition became worse again. Boy complains on headache, syncope episodes and high arterial blood pressure. During the scheduled investigation his blood pressure was 147/100 mmHg and the boy has been diagnosed with arterial hypertension.

In spring 2015 Artem was planned for stent dilatation. Although, during procedure previously implanted old generation stent appeared to be fractured. Artem is in urgent need of new generation stent implantation in order to cover the fracture and prevent further complications. Extremely high blood pressure may lead to stroke. Artem is from poor family from Mariupol. Expensive stent unfortunately is unaffordable for the family. We ask everyone who care to help curing Artem's heart. He has to live a long and valuable life!!!

Mother's letter: "My name is Usmanova Viktoria Valeriivna. I am from Mariupol. I ask to help my dear son Usmanov Artem born in 2000. He is disabled child. In 2010 my son was diagnosed with horrible diagnosis – congenital heart disease. He has aortic coarctation. Boy felt weakness all the time and he had syncope episodes and he suffered this horrible headache. His blood pressure is too high, it's 147/100 mmHg. Surgeons of Amosov National Institute of cardiovascular surgery recommended us to stent his coarctation. I bought stent for that operation. The price was 16000 UAH. I borrowed that money.

Following given recommendations we did regular examinations in Amosov Institute. And I am grateful to the staff for understanding and desire to help to my son!

29.04.2015г. during procedure previously implanted old generation stent appeared to be fractured. Artem is in urgent need of new generation stent implantation. Our family does not have any funds in spite of worsening condition.

We hope for your compassion and mercy. Only you can help my son. Financial situation of our family wishes best. I am unemployed. My husband is only working person in our family. Also we need to care after my disabled father. After shelling in 24.01.2015 our neighborhood was hardly destroyed. And condition of Artem became worse. His blood pressure was high again.

Don't my son have no a future? Don't we find any people capable to help us this tough time? I have nothing worse than my son's illness. Please, help to save my Artem. He has whole life ahead of him. He dreams to become an architect and build a country for us.

Please, help my son! Give us a hope and Joy.
