Save the heart of Artyom Astrakhantsev

Artemka from Zaporozhye needs our help, who has a congenital heart defect – an open arterial duct. Artyom needs to undergo an operation to eliminate the deficiency and Amosov's doctors will do it free of charge, but for this he needs to purchase a heart implant. The boy's parents have no money and they are forced to turn to caring people with a request to save the life of their son.

From the moment of his birth, Artyom was constantly under the supervision of doctors. Due to the fact that the duct in the heart was small (within 1-1.5 mm), annual observation and supportive therapy were shown. According to the conclusion of cardiac surgeons, there was no need for an operation. But during the next examination, a sharp increase in the width of the strait up to 3 mm was revealed, which leads to an overload of the heart. During physical exertion or emotional stress, Artyom's nasolabial triangle turns blue, he often has colds, and sleeps restlessly. All these are the consequences of a sick heart.

Doctors made a decision to urgently solve the problem with surgery. But, unfortunately, the financial situation of the family does not allow purchasing an expensive implant with their own funds. Both mom and dad work in the family, but the salary is not enough to save money, everything goes to pay for utilities, treatment. Even father Artyom had a complicated operation in November, where all the funds that were in the family went. There is another such operation ahead.

In these difficult times, they simply have no one to turn to.

The project to purchase a heart implant is being implemented as part of the national program "Dayly grivnia", which aims to save 600 children with congenital heart disease from all over Ukraine.
