Save the heart Evelina Bodnaruk!

6-year-old Evelina needs urgent help. To six years everyone thought the girl is healthy, she studied dance until the pediatrician heard a heart murmur. After the examination, the girl was diagnosed with congenital heart disease – patent ductus arteriosus, which is an urgent need to close. Time is short, doctors advise within a month to do that. Parents appeal for help to all not indifferent people to raise the necessary funds on the intracardiac implant, as themselves in such a short period they can't cope.

A letter from mom:

"I am a mother of a wonderful girl, Bodnaruk Evelina, ask for help to all kind people to help raise funds for the occluder. When we got to the pediatrician to check through the rash on the body, the doctor advised us to do an ultrasound because she heard a heart murmur. We, suspecting nothing, went to the food, and there we were shocked by the diagnosis: congenital heart defect – patent ductus arteriosus medium size.

After that, we were sent to Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery, where the diagnosis was confirmed. The doctor explained to us that duct does not close it's own, and we need as quickly as possible to do the operation using intracardiac implant (occluder). The girl grows, and heart disease is also increasing and in future, it will lead to irreversible changes in the heart. The operation that we plan is free, but the occluder, which is necessary for Evelina, cost 74 900 UAH. Family difficult to collect all the funds because it's an unexpected and huge amount of money. Together, we collected nearly 25 000 UAH.

Evelinka is a very cheerful and bubbly girl, now she studies in the first grade. The girl started dancing when she was 3 years old. But now, unfortunately, she had to leave a favorite activity, to not overload the heart. My husband and I work informally and get about 6 000 UAH per month. We do not have our own homes, and we are living with parents. The operation should be done as quickly as possible, because every day the heart may be irreversible processes, and the treatment will be much more difficult.

Please help save the little heart until this defect has not yet so much hurt!
