Save Zhenia's heart!

7-year-old Zhenya has a disability. When she was 6 months old, she was diagnosed with a congenital heart disease. When Zhenia was 8 months old, the doctors made a complex open operation, which lasted for 4 hours, with a cut of the chest, and a scar for whole life and complex post-operative rehabilitation. Unfortunately, Zhenia's condition has been worsed lately. The doctors insist on the next urgent endovascular surgery which should be made within 2 months.

The family lives in a small village in the Carpathian region. Only Zhenia's father works, he has a small monthly income. Mom is taking care of the children, Zhenia has a brother. Since Zhenia often catches cold, her mother has to look after her at home.

Zhenya is a very lively and sociable girl. She draws well, and wants to dance her girl peers. The family loves her very much and lavish care on her in that way the little girl doesn't feel sick, and could live a fully life in the future.

After examination in July 2015 the doctors of the National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery named Amosova reported as the heart grows in size and due of pathology disease is also increased. The endovascular surgery should be made urgently. During the surgery the percutaneous congenital heart (occluder) is installed. The price of the occluder is 66 735 UAH.

On their own the family has already raised  20,000 UAH and still 46 735 UAH is needed. But they don’t know where to get the rest of the money. In 2008 the family took a loan to buy a car and they’re still paying for it. So it is impossible to get a credit for the treatment of their daughter. All the years the family lives in fear for Zhenia's life.
