Save the heart Yuliia Potorocha

I recently learned that I was born with a heart defect. After the birth I have not closed Botallov duct, now it's the size of 4 mm. With this problem, I lived with for 16 years. I don't go to school for 2 months. At the first time I had pneumonia, there is a second inflammation, which I had. When I was in the hospital, I was sent to the national Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery, where I was told that all my sickness due to heart problems.

Since then, I am very worried about heart. At night, I can't sleep because my heartbeat is higher than normal, heart rate is 128 beats per minute, I start pounding. Even in the store, I can't stand more than 15-20 minutes, I begin to feel dizzy, I get hot and I just may lose consciousness. The doctors said that without operation not to manage: if it is not done now, then it can cause serious complications. To solve my problem, need an occluder, which is almost 100 000 UAH. Unfortunately, we have no such money.

I live with my mom and grandma retired. My mom works unofficially, she is a hairdresser. Therefore, we do not have a stable income. The pension of the grandmother – 1 480 UAH. All utilities we pay thanks to subsidies. I feel sorry for my mom because when I have a bad night, she is awake too. I hear her pray for my health and crying because she can't be of any help.

The news that I need to do the operation, was a shock for me. Now I finish grade 11, soon graduation exams and University entry. My dream is still in the 9th grade was to go to Bogomolets medical University, but as the number budget is limited, and the cost of studies is about 28 000 UAH for a year, I have no chance. And I made the decision to engage in part-time pharmacy faculty. So I will be able to simultaneously study, work and thus to pay the tuition. My dream for the future is to create a family and have healthy children but with a heart defect, this dream will not come true.
