Save the heart of Maksim Efimenko!

Letter from Mom: "I am a mother of Maxim Efimenko and my child has a congenital heart defect - patent ductus arteriosus. A survey we pass from birth (4 months after bronchitis began to listen with a heart murmur). Once a year we had an ultrasound at Dnipropetrovsk regional clinical center of cardiology and cardiac surgery. Doctors recommended to be observed, there were no complaints.

This year, Maxim went to the first class, the workload had increased and I began to notice that he gets tired and started sweating profusely. After consulting a cardiologist and the last ultrasound we were offered to do the surgery to close the duct. This disadvantage can now be closed with endovascular - using spiral (implant). This operation is less traumatic for the child.

But today the government, unfortunately, has not financed the acquisition of these materials for conducting such operations, and the spiral will need to purchase their own money. The price spiral is UAH 302 821. For me it is a very large sum. On their own I was able to collect only UAH 10 000.

I'm divorced, working as a school teacher in the city of Pervomaisk, Dnepropetrovsk region. With my little salary of such amount not collected.Beat husband refuses to help raise money, therefore, to rely in a difficult situation my son and no one.

Maxim is a kind and cheerful, he loves games, wants to go dancing and boxing. but his  biggest dream - a healthy heart, because he knows that would be great heart, all the other dreams he will realize himself!!!!!

Never thought I'd have to go with this problem, but I have no choice. Therefore, I ask all who can, help save Maxim! We appeal to all concerned to help raise the remaining amount, give a chance for a long and happy life to my single son!!!!!".
