Save the Mark Govoruha's heart

Little Mark has a congenital heart disease since birth – an open arterial duct. All 2 years of his life the boy was examined in cardiology centers. Parents hoped that the defect before the year will close itself, but this did not happen. Difficult pregnancy and difficult childbirth became fatal – the child was born with low weight. After being examined at Kharkiv’s cardiology centers, and Mark was recommended to have her surgically closed since children born with low birth weight have no chance that this defect will close itself. 

Over the past year, the strait has doubled. Having been examined at the Amosov Institute, doctors were asked to close it with the least traumatic method for the child: with the help of an occluder. However, its price – 79 929 UAH – is too high for this family. To collect funds in the short term is simply not possible.

Mark's mom works as a teacher at the university, gets a small salary, the husband is sitting on maternity leave with the child because at the time of the birth of the child he did not have a permanent salary. The eldest son is also growing up in the family. Parents planned to send the child to kindergarten when a boy was one and a half years and that dad would go to work, but because of health problems, the boy is not taken to kindergarten. The family lives in the village, in order to somehow survive, plant vegetables and berries, which the husband and the eldest son sell at the market. With his own efforts, Mark's relatives were able to collect 15 000 UAH, but this is still not enough to buy an occluder.

Therefore, we are starting to raise funds that are not enough to buy an implant, and we ask for support! Mark is only 2 years old, he wants to be strong and have a healthy heart!
