The girl needed endovascular surgery to repair 3 heart defects at once: atrial septal defect, secondary ventricular septal defect and patent ductus arteriosus.
As part of the preoperative examination, Anastasia underwent an ECHO cardiography, which confirmed the presence of 2 defects.
On 13 March 2024, Nalyvaiko Anastasia, born on 11.08.2014, underwent surgery to close the patent ductus arteriosus and atrial septal defect.
The operation was successful and there is hope that the girl's health will recover quickly and all heart diseases will be a thing of the past. The occluder for the operation was purchased thanks to the benefactors who supported the project.
