Svitozara Ermakova helps Oliynyk Sergii

We raised funds to buy 2 occluders to save Svetozara Yermakova's heart, but after the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the family went to the Czech Republic and got registered with local cardiologists. The local hospital put Svetozara on a waiting list for a free implants, and with the consent of the mother, we will be able to save the heart of another patient of the Amosov Institute. Now, the occluders already purchased will help Oliynyk Sergii, who also needs heart surgery.

Sergii was born prematurely and from birth doctors fought for his life. Because of his early birth the boy has disabilities and peculiarities of development, but this does not prevent him from being a good and bright boy. His parents have been doing everything to make sure Sergii is doing well since he was born, but there is something they cannot cope with on their own.

Since childhood, Sergii has been registered with a cardiologist and doctors hope that the heart defect will close on its own. But no miracle happened. "Defect of interventricular septum and patent ductus arteriosus, urgent surgery is required", that was the verdict the parents came out of the doctor's office for the last time. Doctors perform the surgery for free, but the family needs to buy a heart implant, for which the state does not allocate funds, on their own. The father, who had a stroke, and the mother, who provides for the family in a small village in Vinnitsa region, cannot afford the costly implant. All hope lies with caring people.
