Save the heart of Zharkovaya Vera

Little Vera, who has a congenital heart defect – an atrial septal defect, needs your help. There is a 10 mm hole in her heart, which prevents her heart from beating normally and gives complications to the whole body. Without your help, Vera's heart and life are in danger. She urgently needs to undergo endovascular surgery to establish a heart implant. Doctors of the Amosov Institute will do the operation free of charge, but they need to purchase the implant, for which Vera's parents simply do not have the funds. We ask you to save this girl's life!

Vera was born into a large family; the little brother of the girl has a disability. She is a very active, beautiful, cheerful and sympathetic girl with a kind heart. The family is very athletic, and Vera has always looked for herself in different sports, for the last 2 years she has stopped at volleyball. In August of this year, the selection took place in the volleyball academy "Prometheus" in Kamenskoye, where the girl was admitted, and a year ago her older sister joined it.

The academy has a very serious approach to all processes, especially the health and safety of children. After the recruitment, all the children underwent a thorough medical examination, after which the chief doctor of the academy contacted the parents and said that Vera had a congenital heart defect. The training had to be temporarily stopped until the circumstances were clarified with the cardiac surgeon.

In the shortest possible time, the family got to the reception and examination at the Amosov Institute. Vera's diagnosis was confirmed, and she was prescribed surgical treatment – closing the atrial septal defect with an occluder. For this, the girl's family needs to purchase a heart implant, the cost of which is simply immense. Therefore, it was decided to appeal to caring people.
