      Everything is stable with Yaroslav at the moment. The boy is growing and has shot up quite a bit recently, so it might seem as though he has lost a little weight. In reality, however, his weight remains the same. Yarik eats well, spends a lot of time outdoors and loves playing with his younger brother.

      The boy is really showing his character — he’s going through that awkward age. His younger brother is a great help to him around the house: he’ll fetch him a glass of water or bring him something to eat.

      Unfortunately, due to changes in the weather, Yaroslav is experiencing more frequent seizures, so he finds these weather changes quite difficult to cope with. He will also need to have his gastrostomy tube replaced soon, as inflammation has developed around the site where it was fitted.

      A specialised diet remains vital for Yaroslav. It helps to sustain the child’s body on an ongoing basis.
