Save the babies of Kirovograd region

Temperature and oxygen sensors are tiny while an extremely important elements within sophisticated climate systems for nursing preterm infants: incubators. These are specifically incubators that successfully substitute for mom’s belly for little impatient ones who have rushed to come into the world before the day fixed by the nature: they help little babies to adapt to the aggressive environment where it is too cold, too dry, too bright and too noisy. Thanks to special sensors, these wonder cradles help to automatically control humidity and temperature, thus creating the necessary conditions for their guests to assimilate, grow and flutter into the world, healthy and strong.

However, nothing lasts forever, and the operation life of tiny elements within sophisticated gear gets exhausted. Unfortunately, in a situation of regular underfunding of medical facilities in our country, maintenance and purchasing of expendables for a continued operation of the equipment becomes a real challenge for administrations of maternity hospitals and perinatal centers. Public funds are not provided, and the equipment cannot function properly, or quite often, it collects dust in supply closets.

Then ordinary people who care about the problem of preterm infant nursing come to help doctors. These are us!

The goal of the project is to raise funds to repair incubators for the newborn intensive care unit at the Perinatal Center of Kirovograd Regional Hospital. The life of children born prematurely and requiring long-term care and special conditions for treatment depends on the full-fledged work of incubators. Women from all over the region with a complicated pregnancy and the threat of premature birth are sent to this medical institution, where highly specialized medical care is provided by the most difficult category of newborns - children with low and extremely low weight (up to 1 kg) at birth.

Everyone of us can make our modest contributions for the fastest recovery of the littlest and most helpless children of Kirovograd region, let's not remain indifferent!
