Save dad's life!

Andrei Platonov is 37, he has a wonderful friendly family – his wife Miroslava and two small kids. His son Pasha is 7 and little Katia is only 2. When Miroslava was on the 8th month of pregnancy, their family faced woe, Andrei was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma (oncology). The life of the family has changed since then. Several years of chemotherapy, surgery on removal of a tumor in the spine. To stop the disease, Andriy has now been prescribed a course of expensive iminotherapy and rehabilitation treatment at the Motus Center to restore the work of his legs lost after vertebral surgery. To receive therapy he needs 147684 UAH, an amount that the family does not have. Many years of treatment have already exhausted the family budget.

Andrei has been undergoing treatment for almost three years. He underwent over 30 courses of chemotherapy, X-ray therapy and monoclonal therapy. Treatment in Ukraine was in vain and the family has taken a hard decision to leave kids and have treatment at Turkish clinic. They continued examination and treatment there, as a result Andrei was diagnosed with a tumor in the spine that occupied most part of the area inside the spine, due to this the spinal cord was very much compressed and as a result there appeared a dysfunction of lower limbs. There was a surgery on tumor removal since it was impossible to remain it in the body.

Besides the rehabilitation treatment Andrei will require an expensive medication therapy. All financial issues related to the treatment fall on the shoulders of the family and relatives. This year Andrei was given 1st disability category. Miroslava can’t work at the time. They are a regular young family with small kids and retired parents. The family has to borrow money in order to continue treatment. We are starting to collect money for rehabilitation treatment and immunotherapy, we ask you to respond and help the family to save dad!
