On 13.03.2024, Matviy Tsunyovskyi, born in 2015, from the Lviv region, underwent surgery

Matvey is from a small town called Horodok near Lviv. The boy is cheerful and friendly. His parents did not even know that his heart beats a little differently.

As a child, Matvey often suffered from colds. At the age of 3, after another cold, doctors heard a murmur in the child's heart. They did an additional examination and found that he had coarctation of the aorta (narrowing of the aorta). Thus, at the age of 4, Matvii underwent surgery for the first time at the Amosov Institute. The operation was successful, and the boy's condition recovered. Matvey went to school and seemed to have returned to normal life.

But in early 2024, the boy's condition worsened. An examination at Amosov's clinic revealed that Matvey had an aneurysm. With this disease, a sudden rupture of the artery can be a dangerous complication. The doctors informed him of the need for urgent endovascular surgery of the aneurysm.

The cost of the implant for Matvey's surgery was too high for the boy's family.

The family asked for help.

On 13.03.2024, Matthew underwent endovascular surgery. It went well and there is hope that the boy's health will recover quickly and all heart diseases will be a thing of the past. The occluder for the operation was purchased thanks to benefactors who support Sabina's initiative.

We sincerely thank Sabina Musina and every benefactor for their help in saving Matvey's heart.
