On 30 May 2024, Stashchuk Solomiya, born in 2023, from the Kyiv region, underwent surgery.
Solomiika is one year old and has a congenital heart defect. However, the parents found out that the child had an open arterial duct two months ago when they decided to have the child examined. They were concerned that since she was 7 months old, Solomiika had stopped gaining weight. Now the girl weighs 7 kg. The doctors explain that the problem with weight gain is directly related to the child's heart disorders.
Solomiika needs endovascular surgery and closure of the defect with an occluder. Only his father works in the family, and his mother is on maternity leave. The family is unable to raise funds for the purchase of an occluder on their own.
On 30 May 2024, Solomiya underwent surgery to close her congenital heart defect. The occluder for the operation, worth UAH 99,831, was purchased thanks to Sabina Musina's ‘Everything is in Your Hands’ collection.
